A film about objects the studio collected over the years. A kind of 3D diary, revealing the beauty of everyday life. Initially created for the Miami/Basel design fair. It is still a work in progress, just like the collecting process itself.
Dylan van den Berg: “My whole life I’ve been collecting these kinds of objects. They fascinate me. What they are, what they might be. Sometimes I don’t even know why I chose this bottle from the beach, and not that glove. Was it the beautiful shape, or the circumstances in which I found it, my state of mind that day? Was it the hidden story I imagined at the time, or was it the salt and the wind that altered the material so much?”
