Sprout is a family of 25 unique frozen flowers. For this serie Studio Wieki Somers used the same material as it used for the collection Frozen in Time (2010). UV resin has the appeal and the workings of ice. It is a kind of durable ice: after exposing it to the sunlight the material ‘freezes’ into a solid hard layer. It connects all separate components together in an enduring way.
