The light reflecting off the Bufferlamp’s inner wall, which is covered with a golden lustre glaze, generates a warm glow and a peculiar ambient. It creates a house inside the house, as light retains this prodigious power of making us feel safe and confident. It was the quality of the light over the harbour at dusk, as seen from the window of our studio, that inspired us.
